Say good-bye to using difficult-to-terminate
VGA cable and pulling Component cabling.
The Mini CAT5 Extender Kits enable you to
use ordinary CAT5/CAT5e/CAT6 UTP cable
to connect a video monitor up to 500 feet
(152.4 m) from your PC or video source.
To extend VGA video signals only to two
or four remote displays, order a 2-Channel or
4-Channel Mini CAT5 VGA Splitter/Extender
Transmitter. Just pair each transmitter with a
(separately available) receiver at each remote
screen. What’s more, both splitter/extender
transmitters have a second VGA port, which
enables you to connect a monitor locally.
For an eight-channel splitter/extender
application, order our 8-Port Component/VGA
Video Splitter. It enables you to distribute VGA
or Component video from a PC or other source
to eight displays as far as 500 feet away over
CAT5 UTP cable. Just order a receiver for each
remote display.
You can also order a single-channel Mini
CAT5 VGA Extender Transmitter with Local Port.
It sends VGA signals 500 feet over UTP and has
a local loopthrough HD15 port, which you can
use to attach a local VGA monitor.
Use CAT5 cable to send 1600 x 1200 video up
to 300 feet at 85 Hz or 1280 x 1024 video up
to 500 feet at 60 Hz.
Eliminate the need for bulky VGA cables.
Buffer and boost signals for clear video images
at the remote end.
Differential signaling eliminates ground loops
and noise.
For extensions up to 300 feet (91.4 m), a single
power supply is all you need.
Support a maximum resolution of
1920 x 1440 noninterlaced at 60 Hz
and HDTV at 60 Hz to 1080p.

For wallmount applications, choose the
single-channel Mini CAT5 VGA Extender
Wallplate Transmitter. Because it’s inside
a single-gang wallplate, you can mount
it in any standard junction box great
for simplifying your installation.
At the remote location(s), add one or more
Mini CAT5 VGA Receivers. They’re ideal for
placing displays where you need them to display
information such as schedules or ads. The
wallplate version is particularly useful in rooms
tight on space.
NOTE: For CAT5 video extensions over 300 feet
(91.4 m), you need to connect a power supply
at both ends. To order a separate power supply
for a remote unit, call our FREE Tech Support.
