Simplify Full HD 1080p extension with these

CATx-based VGA solutions. Wizard Multimedia

LP extenders enable you to reduce the

infrastructure required for video-only digital

signage extension.

The 4-port transmitter (AVU4004A) extends

to four screens at distances up to 500 feet

(150 m) using solid-conductor cable, including

non-networked CATx runs already installed

in your building (shielded, foil twisted-pair

[FTP] cable is recommended). Just add a

Wizard Multimedia Extender LP Receiver

(AVU4001A-RX) for each screen.

Then order our 1-port transmitter/receiver

kit (AVU4001A). It includes an ultra-compact

transmitter and receiver.

NOTE: Maximum distance depends on the

quality of the cable and the type of VGA source

and display. Low-skew cables are recommended

Even better, all receivers are line powered,

so power isn’t required at the remote end.

With no bulky power transformer to plug in,

you can reduce clutter locally at the source and

remotely at the display. The Wizard Multimedia

Extender LP takes its power directly from a USB

interface and extends that power over the link

used for video, transmitting low-voltage power

via a spare wiring pair to the receiver.

Getting power from the USB interface also

makes the Wizard Multimedia Extenders LP great

for digital signage or video distribution to screens

in areas without abundant power outlets. Plus it’s

safer (in K–12 school settings, for example).

The 4-port model also has a serial port

for switching remote video on and off plus a

feed-through VGA port for local monitoring.

Designed for high-end multimedia

applications, HD View is a truly superior system

for distributing VGA video and stereo audio

signals over CAT5, CAT5e, or CAT6 cable.

The system consists of transmitters and

receivers for delivering single or multiple channels

of HD video and audio to remote screens.

Out-of-band management frees the network

of video multicasting, and because HD View

supports RS-232 transmit/receive signaling, you

can turn a screen on or off to save energy and

maximize screen life. No more walking from

screen to screen to power down your displays.

The HD View system also includes a utility

that provides you with a full view of your AV

topology. Use it to name your devices and ports,

and assign screens to groups. You can also use

the utility to adjust video quality and RGB skew.
