Touch screen support available as an option.

With the optional touch screen license,

you can also turn your iCOMPEL into a

interactive sign and kiosk platform.

Screens can be configured to respond

to a touch anywhere on the panel or react

differently when pressed in different areas

of the panel. Touching a specific zone

causes a command to be issued to the

iCOMPEL, which, in turn, causes the media being played to change. Plus,

each zone can have an independent playlist for touch interactivity.

You can even set a zone within the screen to play HTML media. When

a user touches that zone, they can interact with a Web page you specify —

great for putting your electronic product catalog before any audience!

For instance, in addition to providing the traditional benefits of digital

signage for marketing and informational purposes, the iCOMPEL offers

override messaging, which means the system can be used as a real-time

emergency notification and crisis-management solution. This is particularly

useful in education or government building settings. If a crisis occurs,

administrators or security personnel can issue evacuation notices or lockdown

alerts from a previously programmed iCOMPEL playlist. We’ll explain how.
