Bingo hall wins with

iCOMPEL.

A non-profit association hosts fund-raising bingo games

seven days a week. To save time in writing and rewriting

cardboard ticketing information signs for the different

clubs, the association turned to Kevin Wall of Sound

Environments.

The association wanted some type of slide show that

could run on a laptop. Mr. Wall suggested a much

more flexible solution—iCOMPEL. The original

plan included six monitors around the hall to display

the game information. During the installation,

the idea came up to install cameras for live feeds of

the bingo blower so patrons could see the ball

capture. That led to a total of 22 monitors around the

hall.

“It’s visual entertainment,” said Mr. Wall.

The president of the association saw another way to

put iCOMPEL to work for him. He contracted with

local businesses to run sponsorship ads. That enabled

him to expand the system from one iCOMPEL to

three units so now he can run three sets

of ads concurrently around the room, show the live

ball capture, and the game information.
